About Penny Knight
Service to others has been a recurring theme throughout Penny's career, from the 5 years spent as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy to her 19 years in education, she has made it her personal mission to provide support and guidance to those around her. Penny is a full-time, remote high school counselor at Texas Virtual Academy at Hallsville and stays active in her community by volunteering at CASA of Johnson County, as a court-appointed special advocate for children in foster care, and local business events through the Historic Downtown Cleburne Association. Penny has two daughters, one in college and one in middle school. She absolutely loves ANYTHING outdoors, especially, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
